Chiropractic care can be a great way to manage joint restriction and pain caused by the demands of modern life. Chiropractic care provides patients with treatment options that are effective, gentle, non-invasive and non-addictive alternatives to prescription medications, which are commonly prescribed to patients to help them manage their pain and swelling.
Our Chiropractors offer modern, gentle, non-invasive treatment known as the chiropractic adjustment. In an effort to reduce joint restriction and improve function of the affected nervous system our Chiropractors will deliver specific adjustments. Chiropractic adjustments reduce restrictions of a joint and improve alignment in the spine and other joints of the body.
1. The Consultation
Your visit begins with a conversation about you! Your chiropractor will review your medical history, discuss your lifestyle, and learn about your health and wellness goals. This helps them understand your needs and create a personalized plan.
2. The Exam
After the consultation, your chiropractor will conduct a detailed examination of your spine and joints based on your symptoms and medical history. Their findings will guide the next steps to ensure the most effective treatment is provided.
3. The Adjustment
The visit concludes with a chiropractic adjustment—a modern, gentle, non-invasive therapy designed to address joint restrictions or misalignments. This process helps reduce restriction, improve mobility, and restore function to both the joints and the nervous system. If needed, your chiropractor may also refer you for additional imaging or X-rays to further assess your condition and tailor your treatment plan.
This all depends on the length and severity of your condition, however, most first visits may last as much as 30 minutes. Follow-up visits are much less, often as little as 5-10 minutes.
